Certification Requirements
To receive your PALS certification, you must:
Complete the Precourse Self-Assessment
- Log in to the AHA eLearning site:
- Access Precourse work
- Email the completion certificate to certificates@heartrestartcpr.com.
- Screen shots cannot be accepted.
Pass the written exam (online or in class):
- Online:
- Log in to the AHA eLearning site:
- Access your exam

- You will have two (2) attempts to pass with a score of ≥ 84%
- There is no time limit for the exam
- Email the completion certificate to certificates@heartrestartcpr.com.
- Screen shots cannot be accepted.
- Classroom:
- You will have two (2) attempts to pass with a score of ≥ 84%
- The time limit is 50 minutes to complete.

· Please arrive 5–10 minutes early; outdoor seating is available if you are earlier.
· The American Heart Association requires full attendance.
· Any student arriving more than five (5) minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered late and classified as a “no-show.”
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy:
· Rescheduling more than 3 days before class:No fee
· Cancellation more than 3 days before class: 90% refund
· Rescheduling within 48 hours of class:80% refund
· Cancellation within 48 hours of class:70% refund
· Rescheduling within 24 hours of class or for Saturday classes: 60% refund
· Cancellation within 24 hours of class or for Saturday classes: 40% refund
