Health & Safety Institute

Health & Safety Institute (HSI) meets the standards of The Joint Commission, is accepted as equivalent to the AHA by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and approved by the Florida Board of Medicine.

HSI is a nationally recognized program using evidence-based guidelines and conforms 

to the 2025 AHA Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and 

Emergency Cardiovascular Care and OSHA standards.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

This course is designed for healthcare providers, first responders, and healthcare students who require professional-level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for employment, licensure, or clinical training.

HSI is a nationally accredited organization of the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education. HSI’s First Aid, CPR, AED and first aid training programs are equivalent to the programs  offered by both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American  Red Cross (ARC).
